We made this beer once before at the old building as a big pour brew. We figured it was time to do it again. The grain bill remained the same for the most part, but the hops changed due to our hop supply on contract, and some new varieties becoming available. This black ipa carries more malt flavor than most as we believe that a black ipa should contain more than just color malts. Chocolate and roast aromas complement the minty hop aromas nicely. This brew clocks in at 6% and contains multiple hop additions of ahtanum, falconers flight, and a touch of amarillo hops.
